Around 5:00 pm it was looking good for a real fisherman to go out. So I grabbed my pole and flounder pounders and I hit the door running. The drive was so nice!!! You could see the sun shinning through the clouds to the left over the Gulf and over to the right it look dark and rainy. I drove down to one of many spots I fish at the pass and started casting. Around 10 cast in I felt the first bump. My heart started thumping fast I knew it was a flounder inhaling my red and white flounder pounder. I set the hook and the fight was on. First fish was a 23 inch flounder monster! This was a good start to a stormy fishing day.
My niece kissing the flounder. After I landed that first monster flounder I was ready to catch another one and get home. So I walked about 50 feet to this little deep hole the flounder like to stack up on and casted. On the first cast I felt that same flounder bump and set the hook. This one was not as big as the first but it was not a little one by all means 19 inches. I had my limit and I was ready to get home to clean the two nice flounder.
